Your health is, much better with a smoking stick of moxa, in your hand!

This ancient method has been used for more than 2500 years utilizing the heat and therapeutic smoke transfer of mugwort into specific body points to prevent and cure diseases.

Application of burning Moxa treatment does not only help build blood, increase blood circulation, and energy levels but, as research shows, it has been proven to help treat diarrhea and colitis, urinary incontinence, musculoskeletal pain, turn breech babies, relieve menstrual cramps, and stimulate immune system to create more WBCs.

Besides clearing pathogenic factors from the air, moxa (not the smokeless kind but one which produces smoke) contains active ingredients including antioxidants which "were increased rather than being destroyed after burning, showing actions of clearing free radicals and lipid peroxidation" according to a study published in Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine in 2013.

DIRECTIONS: find an open, well ventilated area (outdoors is best). Peel paper off one end (doesn’t matter which end) and ignite Moxa stick using a lighter. Once it's lit and burning, apply in "still, circular or pecking motion" to specific body points (i.e. St-36 on legs to strengthen immune system, Ren-4 or 6 on for abdominal concerns and menstrual cramping). To prevent burning yourself, if and when heat gets too strong, move on to the next point, or pause and repeat on same point, for a duration of 10-15 minutes. Extinguish using ceramic or metal plate (do not use water or you will have trouble reigniting the stick).

For best results, perform moxa treatments daily, anytime until 4pm.

SIZE: 8 inch stick containing 3-5 year old (peak medicinal value) crushed mugwort herb. Each stick will last 1-2 weeks.

CAUTIONS and CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use if pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant.
Do not apply to face, near sensory organs, or to any area near large blood vessels.
Do not use if you have allergies to smoke.
Do not use on legs if suffering from peripheral neuropathy.
Use moxa only in a well ventilated area (outdoors, patio, ventilated room...) since allergic reactions may occur from smoke inhalation.
In rare cases, a headache or a rash may occur. Stop using if experiencing any of these.
